Victoria Armas (Cavaliere)

Victoria is a Registered Social Worker and the Clinical Director of Healing Within Psychotherapy. She holds a Master degree in Social Work and brings a warm, grounded presence to her work with clients.

Victoria's therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches — tailoring her work to the unique needs of each person she works with.

Victoria has a particular passion for supporting individuals and families affected by trauma, PTSD, and eating disorders. She works with civilians who have experienced trauma, as well as first responders — including firefighters, paramedics, police officers, veterans, correctional officers, and 911 operators — and healthcare professionals experiencing the impact of their work.

Victoria believes that therapy is an opportunity to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and better understand what you need to move forward. She creates a space where clients don't have to explain, minimize, or hide what they're going through.
